Consortia Factors® (UCFx-F™) - ReGenerative Serum, ReVida, RePure Cleanser, ReSoft Emollient

INCI: Ustilago Cynodontis Ferment (UCFx-F™)

Evidence: Strong (ingredient study)

What it is

Our patented hero technology, created by co-culturing yeast (Ustilago cynodontis) with flax (Linum usitatissimum) plant stem cells. The result is a natural consortia factor system that delivers exosomes, peptides, and beneficial metabolites that support antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities.

How it works

Its consortia factors composed of exosomes, peptides, and signaling metabolites help activate skin’s renewal pathways; biomimetic lipids reinforce the barrier; and concentrated antioxidants (including vitamin C) neutralize free radicals and inflammation. Because the co-culture produces compounds neither parent cell makes alone, its antioxidant defense is measurably more potent than single-source ferments.

Yeast-Plant Exosomes

INCI: Naturally occurring within Consortia Factors® (Ustilago Cynodontis Ferment)

Evidence: Emerging

What it is

Yeast-plant consortia-derived exosomes (extracellular vesicles) are nanoscale packages that cells use to carry messages — proteins, lipids, and signaling molecules — to other cells. They occur naturally within our yeast-plant-cell-derived Consortia Factors® complex.

How it works

Delivered as part of the consortia factor system, these vesicles ferry their signaling cargo to skin cells, supporting cell-to-cell communication that encourages renewal and a calmer, more even appearance — working alongside the complex’s peptides and metabolites.

Peptides & Glycoproteins

INCI: Glycoproteins (and within Consortia Factors®)

Evidence: Established (class)- Recognized skin-conditioning actives; finished-product outcomes reference internal testing.

What it is

Protein and protein-sugar molecules that act as natural messengers in skin — present both as a stand-alone active and within the Consortia Factors® complex.

How it works

As cell-communicating ingredients, peptides and glycoproteins help signal skin cells to carry out the renewal and repair processes associated with younger skin — encouraging skin to rebalance rather than resurface.

Superoxide Dismutase (SOD)

INCI: Superoxide Dismutase

Evidence: Established (class) - Well-characterized antioxidant enzyme; ingredient-level support is strong.

What it is

A naturally occurring enzyme that is one of the body’s primary defenses against oxidative stress, neutralizing reactive superoxide free radicals.

How it works

SOD converts damaging superoxide radicals into less harmful molecules, protecting skin cells from environmental stress — a key driver of visible aging — and working synergistically with the antioxidants in Consortia Factors®.

Sodium Hyaluronate

INCI: Sodium Hyaluronate

Evidence: Established (class)

What it is

The salt form of hyaluronic acid — a humectant that holds many times its weight in water, with a molecular size suited to smooth, even hydration.

How it works

It draws and binds water in the upper layers of skin, plumping the surface and supporting a healthy moisture balance that makes fine lines look softer.
