A Letter of Medical Necessity, or LMN, is documentation from a licensed provider supporting that an eligible product or service is medically necessary for a diagnosed condition. Truemed's health assessment is used to determine whether an LMN is appropriate.

Are there fees associated with using Truemed's services?+

Any applicable Truemed fees or terms are presented as part of the Truemed experience. Please review the information shown during your assessment and checkout flow.

When should I use my FSA/HSA dollars?+

You can use eligible funds when you have an eligible expense and meet the requirements of your HSA or FSA plan. FSA deadlines and rollover rules can vary by employer plan, so check with your plan administrator.

How long does it take to receive my Letter of Medical Necessity?+

Timing can vary. Truemed will provide the relevant status and next steps after your health assessment is reviewed.

I don't have an HSA/FSA. Can I still benefit from Truemed?+
