HOW IT WORKS

Two cells. One richer secretome.

Most ferment and growth-factor serums use the output of a single cell type. Consortia Factors® co-cultures a yeast (Ustilago cynodontis) with different types of plant stem cells, such as flax, hibiscus, and tulsi. Grown together, the two communicate and produce a combined secretome — metabolites, peptides, lipids, and plant-derived exosomes — that neither makes alone.

Yeast and plant stem cells are grown together, producing a combined secretome of metabolites, peptides, lipids, and plant-derived exosomes. About one-third of its beneficial metabolites are unique to the pairing.
